P52 Weekly Photography Challenge {week four}

So I missed week three….and I have no excuse for it! I kept telling myself I needed to get it done…but I didn’t. So I’m getting a head start on this weeks and as soon as Kent Weakly opens the linky I’m all over it!! Lol! So this is my submission this for this week, since I had been working on nailing my focus the past couple weeks I finally decided to put my 50mm back on and start focusing on DOF and still nailing the focus. When I first bought my 5D MKII I automatically put the 50mm on because that had been my go to lens on my xsi for years. But on my xsi I had working my focus points down, and on my MKII I hadn’t yet learned how to set my points and 90% of my photos weren’t focused it was extremely frustrating. So now that I have that figured out, back to my 50mm and big beautiful aperture so I can now focus on that creamy dreamy background and have my subject nice and crisp! These are of my beautiful durl {girl} Kylie, drawing on her beloved “drawing board”. We have a northern facing window in our dining room and a white wall across from it bouncing in beautiful light almost all day long. I have a feeling it will be the dining room that will host my {indoor portion} valentine mini session.
